Born in Paris, Arielle Kandel moved to Israel in September 2007. She holds M.A. degrees in international law and Middle East studies from the University of Aix-Marseille III (France) and Ben-Gurion University. Her Master’s thesis focuses on Indo-Israeli strategic relations.

Arielle Kandel is at present an Associate Fellow at the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute (JPPPI) in Jerusalem, which she joined in February 2010. She currently works on the research project led by Dr. Shalom Wald focused on relations between India, Israel and the Jewish people.
