Annual assessment of the Situation and Dynamics of the Jewish People
This project is designed to outline and evaluate the state and dynamics of the world Jewry from multiple perspectives and to assess anticipated changes in the future. Its objective is to prepare a comprehensive and multi-dimensional annual overview that is revised to reflect trends and changes in the situation and dynamics affecting the Jewish people.
The Jewish People 2030 – Alternative Futures Project Head: Ambassador Avi Gil, former Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This project outlines main alternative futures of the Jewish people in 2030 with scenarios leading to them.
Global Jewish Identity and Identification Project Participants: Mr. Yogev Karasenty Mr. Yehudah Mirsky
This is a broadly conceived mega-project dealing in modular form with main issues of Jewish identity and identification and ways to strengthen it with the help of a mix between tradition and adjustment to the realities of the 21st century.
Jewish Demography – Current and Expected Trends and Policy Implications
The Project on Jewish Demography assesses the main trends that continuously transform population size and composition in Israel and among World Jewry.
Enhancing the Standing of the Jewish People in Emerging Superpowers without Biblical Tradition Project Head: Dr. Shalom Solomon Wald.
This project aims at enhancing the standing of the Jewish people in emerging superpowers like China, and India.
Geo-political Environment: Opportunities and Challenges Project Head: Ambassador Avi Gil, former Director General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The project focuses on evaluation of global geo-political, geo-strategic and geo-cultural shifts and their implications for the Jewish People together with policy recommendations. Started at a meeting at Wye with heads of main Jewish organizations dealing with the geo-political environments. A second meeting in New York in October 2006, with the participation of Henry Kissinger, decided to have a retreat for in-depth discussion of main issues and approval of a policy planning work program.
